ITEM 7796. PAINT DECORATED PINE
BLANKET BOX made in New England C. 1830. A 1981 receipt indicates
that the box was owned by Phene Ann Merwin Taylor and Noah S.
Taylor of Brookfield Center, CT. Some expected usage wear to
paint, no damage or restoration. Diminutively sized at 40 ¾"W
x 20 ¾"H x 15 5/8"D.
EXCITING UPDATE: The chest has
recently been reunited with its original owners and will now
be offered in concert with a lovely pair of silhouettes housed
in their original frames.
